The hotel and gardens were well kept, friendly and accommodating staff, thoughtful gestures for special occasions, great food at the restaurant, comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower, convenient location with bus stop outside.

Everything was spot on.

The hotel here is luxurious and fulfilled all our needs, from the exclusive amenities to the excellent service. The Spa & wellness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and beach access were fantastic. We enjoyed the live entertainment, massages, sun loungers, and garden area. The restaurant served an outstanding breakfast, buffet, and had private facilities that made us feel pampered. The location advantages were superb - a panoramic pool with breathtaking views, with access to the beachfront.

The hotel here had a minor issue with the salty tasting water provided for the tea, making it unpleasant to drink. However, the coffee was average, and the bar/lounge area served great snacks and cocktails.

There is a very friendly staff, clean room and excellent supplement. The garden is beautiful, beach is nice. Very good place!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the impeccable cleanliness of the room and hotel facilities, the great location right next to the beach and by the seaside, the delicious breakfast with plenty of options, and the attentive staff who were always ready to assist with anything we needed.

Close to the beach ,food , nice staff in restaurant and reception (except for one man in reception who is a little ruud ;))

Location is only for relaxing , notclose to anywhere ( only beach ) ,When hotel is full ,Finding a place at the pool is so hard ,SOmetimes is impossible

The hotel was so clean and peacefull.

The hotel area (outside) was slidy after the rain and in the morning after they washed it.

Nice and quiet. The breakfast had plenty of options with fresh eggs and pancakes. Good location as there were bus stops nearby and a shop within walking distance.

Limited activities in the area. No gluten or lactose-free options for meals.

Everything in the hotel was perfect! We came across the most polite staff, the most amazing chef and overall it was a great experience!!! Great beach and nice view of the sea from the room!!(choose room with sea view)

Slight renovation in the bathroom to match a 5* hotel

Very clean hotel: the cleaning ladies were there until very late and did their work very very good, relaxing enviroment: beautiful surroundings around the hotel and the "sister" hotel Creta Star": gardens and trees are fantastic and very clean and the view of some places in the hotel very nice, pleasant stuff (reception-restaurant-cleaning ladies-room service), extra tip the small pool, that make you feel like your home because the customers dont prefer so much! The rooms are a little old, but everything looks in perfect contition-colour-functioability, so it not a problem at all.

Nothing to bother, maybe a small renvation at the pool area (more beautiful chairs-pool bar) that it would match with the perfect gardens around them! But not something 100% necessary.

We stayed at a hotel by the sea, with a beautiful garden and beach view. The hotel provided a quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed the tasty food and refreshing drinks from the bar. The rooms were spacious and had hot water. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. Plus, the nearby village offered many great dining options.

The hotel lacked evening entertainment.

The hotel is right on a sandy beach, the sea ideal, not too deep, good for swimming or just sunbathing. There is 2 hotel in the same garden creta star and creta royal. Royal is a bit smaller one and more comfortable with five stars (my opinion it is only 4). The hotel is perfect for relaxation, the buffet food was great. The animation team is very funny, never seen this before. They organized very memorable events!

Rethymno town is about 30 min bus drive from the hotel. There is nothing interesting in the neighbourhood. The hotel area is luxurios, but the buildings and the lands around the hotel are strange, a bit lonely. The hotel has a big fan on the rooftop (I think form the kitchen). It is very noisy, they swich off for the night, but starts to operate around 5.30am and wake us up every day.
